ANEA reflects the joint commitment of local government and regional businesses to:

  • Provide a platform for industrialists to speak out
  • Defend and consolidate Normandy’s industrial base
  • Support continued business development and competitiveness in the food industry– our region’s   largest employer
  • Offer policy proposals for public and local government financing in support of business

Commitment reflected in:

  • An Executive Committee whose members are all owners or senior managers of businesses in the sector.
  •  A Board of Directors made up of businesses, leaders of the association’s specialized commissions, and representatives of financing bodies, chambers of commerce and industry, and chambers of agriculture.
  • Permanent staff serving members and attentive to their needs, taking the initiative for contacts with businesses.
  • Members leading and participating in specialized commissions and working groups set up at the initiative of businesses to provide leverage for competitiveness, innovation and progress.
  •  Networking with the most active organizations in the region. For a full list and contact details, see appendix.
  • Extended reach through cross-functional initiatives drawing on the complementary know-how of other organizations in areas of common interest. Examples include managing organic waste and assistance for underprivileged groups.
  • ANEA benefits from the trust and confidence of authorities and the business community, along with continuing support from financial backers.
